Winthrop Physical Therapy is looking to hire a Physical Therapist.

Job Description:

Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions through movement analysis, medical history reviews, and functional testing.

Treatment Planning: Develop personalized, measurable goals and rehabilitation plans (e.g., therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy) to restore function or prevent injury.

Hands-on Care: Administer treatments such as joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and therapeutic exercise to reduce pain and increase mobility.

Patient Education: Instruct patients and their families on safe home exercises, body mechanics, and injury prevention techniques.

Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and medical notes.

Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, high-quality care.

Qualifications:

Education: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

Licensure: Valid state license to practice physical therapy.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for patient motivation, physical stamina, and critical thinking for diagnosis and treatment planning

Pay and Benefits:
$40-45/hr
